Ok, SEW: as part of the 67 minutes of charity Madiba Birthday effort, we have decided to donate a sewing course to a lady from the Rainbow Academy, whose participants get trained in the performing arts and then go through job placement programs.Carmelita, is a dancer and choreographer and as they do a lot of performances and need costumes, I thought it a really good idea to teach her how to sew so she can do some of this kind of thing herself. I am very excited to get involved with them after we saw them perform last night at the local Irish pub I was telling the Thursday group about. It was awesome ! We had a really hot curry and then listened to some great Jazz by the Hilton Schilder Trio. Gees, are we spoilt in Cape town? rainbowacademy.co.za
