Ok, Since Everyblock is back. I am changing this group around slightly. I will be trying to keep this going, EB for those who dont know what it is, well it is a giant message board/forum that is focused on cities. It can be a bit hard to keep up with and as of right now they dont have an Android App, I dont know if they ever got their iPhone app working (or even how well it works if they did). Their page doesnt not play well with smart phones. So think of this as the cliff notes plus its own thing, which will be whatever we make it and I am open to suggestions on that. So for those in the Far North/Northwest sides who dont use EB but want to have a shortened version of news, or want to ask questions about what is going on this will be a place that you can do that (which may include those of us on EB going there to find out info and bringing it back here). We will post news items, you are more then welcome to post pictures related to this area of Chicago, (old and new). Events coming up, Restaurant info, etc... This group originally covered the Edgewater, Rogers Park, West Rogers Park, Andersonville, Ravenswood, and the Uptown Neighborhood areas of Chicago. Roughly 7600 N to 4400 N and the Lakefront to 3200 W. (I know that picks up bits of other areas as well). But it cant hurt to expand it to be a bit more general. I will be happy to add in keywords for areas that people are willing to report on! Please invite people to join, friends, family and other people from groups that may collapse as part of the EB restart are more then welcome here and feel free to post news items of your own! (I just ask that you leave politics at the door)
