Ok... Soapbox time again. Everyone who knows me knows Im a fat chick. Ive given diets a half-hearted try in the past, but I was just meant to be chubby. Ive accepted it. The reason? I love to eat! And I love to eat foods that are less than healthy. So the ever vigilant Government... in another step toward controlling every aspect of my life... has seen fit to ban trans-fat! Really? Thats how you take care of us? Hundreds of thousands of people are at deaths door at this very minute because of cigarettes, yet they can still walk into a store (if they are still able to walk) and purchase another pack of Marlboros... but I cant have those tasty unhealthy fries???? Seriously? My grandfather raised hogs and when he took one off to slaughter to fill our freezer, he always brought back buckets of LARD. Yes folks... I grew up eating foods fried in LARD! And it was GOOD! I still save my bacon grease to flavor my beans and scrambled eggs. If there are people who dont want to eat transfat, thats fine.... dont force them to... but leave me alone!!!!
