Ok Supermoms, I need help. Kaelyn has a HORRIBLE cough that gags her. And if I get her to take certain liquid meds like Tylenol, she immediately vomits. She refuses to take medicine. The girl is super strong willed when she has to be. Locked jaw, pushing away, the whole bit. She doesnt use cups because she still doesnt drink from one, so I try to use a syringe. Then there is this whole other problem. Her neurologist started her on two new meds last week. One is a capsule so it can just be sprinkled in something, the other has to be crushed. Shell eat things without knowing, but she figures it out quick and wont eat anymore. This includes jello, yogurt, cups of ice cream and now very surprisingly ice cream sandwiches. (Her most favorite thing in the world) on top of all this, she no longer trusts me to come near her with anything, which makes me feel horrible to say the least. It has been beyond frustrating. So, any suggestions? Ill try anything. Thanks!
