Ok WHO REMEMBERS HARLEY....?? Harley was the brindle Dutch Shepherd Mix that we saved from Fort Worth Animal Shelter, he had severe injuries to his face and hips. He had been HIT, DRAGGED and then RUN OVER by a truck. It had been witnessed and someone called the animal control who took him to the shelter. HARLEY was taken to Dr. Beam at Alvarado Veterinary Clinic where he had a plate in his lower jaw, a plate in his upper jaw, a plate in his cheek and two plates on his pelvis. He stayed with our most amazing friend, pack person and vet tech Tammy Chamness up on Alvarado for his rehabilitation, I felt his injuries were too bad to come straight to the pack, so he stayed with Tammy and her only slightly smaller pack lol. HARLEY found his absolutely most perfect family early this year, both his new mum and dad have plates in their bodies, so they all can understand and appreciate when the weather changes and that dull throbbing or aching, or whatever it is people feel, but the point being they know when he could be hurting - so to me that was EVEN MORE PERFECT. So = the metal plate family - got on just perfect, they taught HARLEY to behave with the cats and all live perfectly. WELL..look what I received today - this is just so wonderful and Im going to be sending this to Dr. Beam so he can see the outcome of his amazing, specialized, talented, life-saving work. I remember his saying that he was amazed that HARLEY had not had his muzzle ripped off. Thank you so much Christine for the video.
