Barbie The Pear Princess The Book Thief (Drama) Rated PG13, 131 Minutes Geoffry Rush, Emily Watson, Sophie Nelisse While subjected to the horrors of World War II Germany, young Liesel finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others. Under the stairs in her home, a Jewish refugee is being sheltered by her adoptive parents. Very good and touching movie. A few changes made transferring the book to the big screen but definitely worth watching. Enemies Closer (Action) Rated R, 85 Minutes Jean-Claude Van Damme Deep within a forest on the US-Canadian border, two sworn enemies must work together to escape a ruthless drug cartel hell-bent on retrieving a drug shipment which went missing there. Homefront (Action, Crime, Thriller) Rated R, 100 Minutes Jason Statham, James Franco, Winona Ryder, Rachel Lefevre, Izabela Vidovic, Kate Bosworth A former DEA agent moves his family to a quiet town, where he soon tangles with a local meth druglord. A very good suspense with Statham kicking a lot of a**. Written by Sylvester Stallone. The Hungover Games (Comedy) Rated R, 85 minutes, After celebrating Dougs upcoming wedding in a cut rate hotel in Laughlin, NV, hungover guys Bradley, Ed and Zach wake up in a futuristic dystopia, having lost their pal, Doug. With the help of Effing and Justmitch, the trios loyal advisers, the gang must now prepare to battle their way through the pop culture districts of The Hungover Games including The Real Housewives of District 8 and Teddy from The Puppet District. Havent watched this yet but the trailer was a hoot! In Fear (Thriller) Rated R, 85 Minutes, Iain De Caestecker, Alice Englert (Beautiful Creatures) Driving, lost and tormented in the night, primal fears of the dark and the unknown give way to fear that you have let the evil in, or that it is already there. Inside Llewyn Davis (Drama, Comedy, Music) Rated R, 104 Min. Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, John Goodman, Justin Timberlake, Garrett Hedlund A week in the life of a young singer as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961. Loved it. One of my favorites from last year. Classic Coen Brothers. Be sure to watch Inside Inside Llewyn Davis in the special features. Out Of The Furnace (Crime, Drama, Thriller) Rated R, 116 Min. Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Zoe Saldana, Woody Harrelson, Sam Shepard, Willem Dafoe When Rodney Baze mysteriously disappears and law enforcement doesnt follow through fast enough, his older brother, Russell, takes matters into his own hands to find justice. The Outsider (Action, Crime, Drama) Rated R, 94 Minutes Shannon Elizabeth, James Caan, Jason Patric Revolves around a British military contractor Lex Walker who is told his daughter has died. When he arrives in Los Angeles and discovers the body is not hers, he begins an investigation. Thats all for this week.
