Ok now that Im settled and my stomach is full I can tell you about my day. We started tuesday night cooking four of the nine turkeys and came back 9am wednesday morning to finish. We cooked from 9am-9pm and so many people dropped off so much food. This was a collaborative effort that couldnt happen without everyone that helped and we appreciate all of the people who did, especially the ones who drove and walked all around the city to feed 240 homeless and needy people with us. We are extremely grateful for everything. Many of us fought back tears all day long as the people that we fed smiled and expressed their gratitude. That was nothing but God because we were looking for people to feed as that were looking for something to eat. Were so grateful that we are able to help people in need. Its truly a blessing. Thank you everyone and our anonymous donors that I wish I could tag for making this dream come true. Im going to conclude this long post in tears of joy and wish everyone a happy holiday. (I know Im missing a few people in the tags but like we say charge it to my mind and not my heart. Its been a long three days cooking, prepping and feeding...Im exhausted lol) Ooohhh and my #Eagles won!!!! Yes this day is perfect!!! #EaglesNation
