Ok so I have a question for the men out here. Me and my girls have had this convo many times and surprisingly all of our responses werent the same. What is it with men and their phones? If your lady asks for your phone why is there hesitation, questions, or resistance about handing it over? What is it thats so sacred or secret about your phone if you are in a monogamous, committed relationship? Why is your password such a secret? What happened to open and honest nowadays? My phone has a password because my kids mess stuff up, but if my mate wants to use it for whatever Ill hand it over or even give him the code. Why is a phone so important you say? Because in todays society its the center of almost any communication. Phone, email, social media, text, and internet all meet in this little device. Some peoples whole world is in their phone. If your phone is in your hand for majority of your day then I feel like its part of you and who you are and what you do. It is partially Your Life. So if men dont have a problem opening up every part of their womans body and indulging in it, why is it ok for them to tuck away and hide so much of their life from their life partner. My opinion is that you have something to hide or that youre ashamed of. I say this from experience in this situation and just from common sense. What harm could your mate do by having access to your phone? If theres anything you do in your phone that you dont want your mate to find out about then youre doing something you shouldnt be doing in the first place. If its a joke or entertainment then let your mate laugh/enjoy it with you, dont hide it. Now that isnt to say they should just go in your phone at will without at least asking. But just knowing that u have that access and that your mate trusts you with that access shows you have nothing to hide and can built trust beyond measure in a relationship. I feel like secrecy can destroy trust and therefore a relationship. What yall think? Ladies yall can chime in too but I really wanna hear the mens point of view.
