Ok, so no snow. What to worry about now. How about earthquake? Some folks are thinking one might be possible, like the 5.9 one that hit near Richmond in 2011. Recent days have seen several earthquakes that may be shifting the North American Craton, and the eastern edge is what rattled three years ago and damaged the Washington Monument. Will it affect us? Would we even feel it? Dunno. But its another reminder (1) to be prepared for emergencies, of all kinds, in all seasons, and (2) a Greater Power is in charge, not man, so were best to put our trust in Him that He will protect us, comfort us, provide for us. Check those weather alerts and flashlights, as always.
