Ok, so the verdict is in and it is just as suspected. The aortic valve is in need of a replacement. He has known this for a while but it is now at a critical point. He will remain here at Camden Clark through the weekend. Then we will have a consultation with a surgeon at Riverside. This type of surgery is no longer open heart but can be perform through a cath through the groin. It still has risks, but without it...well, you can imagine. He is comfortable, having fun with these awesome nurses, and getting ready for dinner. Thank you for your prayers and keep them coming!!!
