Ok so when the Clipper players took off their warm ups and threw - TopicsExpress

Ok so when the Clipper players took off their warm ups and threw them down at center court and decided to wear their Clipper shirts inside out as a protest to their then owner making racist statements that was ok? Or when the Miami Heat players wore hoodies in protest for Trayvon Martin that wasnt ok, but low and behold the St Louis Rams come out with their hands up over the murder of Mike Brown oh the nation is in an uproar. They cant do that, they not suppose to do that? Oh really says who? Seems to me once again WE like to pick and choose what is right and wrong. So its ok to protest the racist owner whos been that way for over 30 years while owning the team, but its not ok to protest for two unarmed kids being killed in cold blood? America is truly in a state of emergency. Its ok to march and protest for what the system says is ok. But if everyone aint down with it its mayday on the front lines. My grandfather born and raised in Brooklyn, Mississippi use to tell me the law would say yall can sing and protest at your churches Id you want to be safe, but the minute you take it to the streets its open season. So whatcha saying is keep Ya heads down remain docile and we wont bother you no because later own as history showed us what did the cops start doing? Firebombing churches. So basically there wasnt a safe haven anywhere. Folks just said Funk it we gonna get billyclubbed, dogs sicked on us, fire hoses turned on us might as well take to the streets anyway.. I know this aint Mississippi not is it 1932, but as Malcolm X once said Some of the good Ol boys have traded in those sheets for badges and guns. Now its legal. Educate yourselves dont just take my word for it
