Ok, so why is everyone just accepting the things that the federal government is shutting down? Last I checked I still have 1000 dollars being pulled from my paycheck for taxes. That sure hasn’t been shut down. So why would I not be able to go and visit a National Park? I still own it. Why would I not be able to see monuments that were dedicated to my grandfathers and great grandfathers who fought and died for our freedom to see them? Do you realize it costs more to keep people out of these things and keep them guarded than them just being open to the public? It is time “We the People” take over. Every forest ranger, park ranger, guard, bookstore keeper, waitress, cook, and anyone else that works in these areas that have been shut down, go to work. Take a stand! Say I will not be swayed by a tyrant in MY Whitehouse!! We do not need the fed for this!! If enough people take a stand and say enough is enough, I am taking my country back; it will make a huge impact!! We have representatives such as Ted Cruz that are working hard to fight and stand for our freedoms but he can’t do it alone! We have to buckle down and do some uncomfortable things to cause waves and then BOOM, impact will happen!! Washington needs to know we can cope without them! We provide for our families and work hard to keep our lives going. Congress is not our provider!! The majority of them are playing chess and golfing while all this is going on. Does that not bother you?! It sure as heck does me!! I want them to have a loud and clear message from the grassroots showing that we will not bow any longer. If they say jump, we will sit. If they say walk, we will run! If you work in any of the areas that have been affected by the shutdown, you know what to do. Call your coworkers and county commissioners and get the ball rolling. If you don’t work in these areas share this so someone that does can read it. Or share to someone directly that you know, that is in the midst of it. We are already fighting it in my area. We are about to reopen our National Park because fed has no legal right to shut down tourism for our area. You can either be a sheep or follow an elite few who don’t care that you are even alive. OR you can be what a “real” American that stands on principle and for what is right! We have the future of our children to fight for! Do you want them to live free or live as slaves? The choice is in your hands….. ~JF
