Ok , this is how the school lunch program goes down ! My son grabs a tray slides it down and grabs drink food and utensils , step one ....... Sticks his finger on a scanner (so I know the government has his prints on record now ) and if he owes money it comes up on a screen (in this case $5 and he spent the 2.75 givin that morning on the vending machine ) so the lady ask him " do you have any money ? You already owe $5 ." So he answers no .........the lady takes the regular lunch and THROWS IT AWAY .....IN THE TRASH !!! then hands him a tray with 2 pcs of bread , peanutbutter under it , an apple and a milk AND I STILL GET CHARGED FOR A REGULAR MEAL ????? is it me being petty or is there theft going on here to an extent ?
