Ok today I should of been cycling to telford but one reason or another I have been delayed ( again) so instead I have written the first couple of chapters of my book so here is the first chapter for you amusement and constructive criticism The Bin Divers Guide to Cycling The world This is a book about my adventures around the world, about punk, politics, cycling and general blagging. It may say guide in the title but its not so much a how to guide but hopefully an inspirational tale and internal musing of an anarchy-cyclist. To start off with I should explain why I am doing this and it is simply because I have the time, the opportunity and because I can. There are many other reasons of course, but I think it can be summed up by the way I feel about life. An opportunity that makes you excited is one that should never be passed up. At this point I should also pass comment on anarchism as it will feature heavily over the course of these pages as I shall attempt to get myself experienced and involved in different activism projects during my convoluted circumnavigation of this small spinning rock we inhabit. To start anarchism is not chaos or living without rules as some would have you believe, but more an evolution towards love, harmony and solidarity amongst humans. Sought through the social deconstruction of capitalism and the state. Until all are equal and this does not mean an equal redistribution of wealth. This means every little thing is not oppressed and our labour is worth something to the individual who works for it. Not the few that have industrialised and kept all classes and creeds at each others throats for centuries. An evolution towards abolishment of all Governments, all boarders, all nations. An evolution towards establishment of mere administration of tasks such as waste management and road maintenance. Instead of state managed tasks to be delt with by consensus and true democracy not this farce we struggle with presently. Now an introduction has been established. Follow me through my experiences of stepping away from the status quo, heart ache, infuriating money worries and general life as I know it and into an adventure for an undetermined amount of time and on an unknown budget of whatever I can earn/blag on my way round.
