Ok you guys I got my ph bill and it Jumped like $60 dollars cause I used way more data this month than usual and I had a hard time figuring out where that xtra data usage come from till I looked at what the messenger app used and it was like 6 times what I used with FB , when I downloaded it I thought it was an extension of FB but evidently its not Not only do u use data cause it goes through FB but then it uses its own data too I really like messenger and it is useful with keeping up with whos seen what and when and its quicker than texting but it cost way too much unless you have an unlimited plan not to mention whom ever is on the receiving end will use data just opening it up to read your stupid stuff and now lately there is the scare of it not being secure with said data and pictures so I just wanted to put it out there I will be texting a whole lot more even thinking about deleting this app and if I want to send message go thru FB private message feature , not an instant thing but uses much less data
