Okay Boston Peoples but especially Theater Peoples and peoples with whom I am socially engaged: a pathetic blanket apology over social media, for which I also feel sorry: I missed EVERYTHING this week and weekend. Readings, openings, closings, productions, Artbeat: Ever-y-thing. I know my frequent posting seems to indicate I am floating freely, rolling in leisure time to peruse the FB, but as we know, FB is not a truthful indicator of actual human life. So yes, I missed Ever-y-thing this weekend. And last weekend. And etcetera. Family and writing and kids and limited childcare this summer, plus to be honest, for some things I lost complete track of dates since Ive been using the weeks since school let out to write. I only know it is July because yesterday was my moms birthday (one hallmark of my 30s is I know know and remember and in human celebrate the date of her birth), and, also, now day camp is over which means I get to spend loads more time with K and H but am gonna miss more of all the Ever-y-thing. I know all the work was engaging and insightful. Id love to read it, but know I wont be able to until October or so. But what is wonderful is that there is so much to see and view here that I am super excited about what comes next. Lame blanket FB apology but not an insincere one. Now to go buy food not at a Market Basket which is striking fear into my heart, mind, and wallet.
