Okay. I see where the author is coming from, but I think the whole point behind sharing toys is that a child will learn empathy and caring for others. I understand that some kids feel entitled to have whatever the other kid has, but making them wait for a turn teaches them that they cant always have it right away. Then, with that, maybe they get over it when they see that its not that important to steal it from the other kid. In turn, the kid that has it, doesnt feel entitled to use it for the whole hour/day/whatever. I just feel like kids should learn to think about others in sharing situations. Like Daniel Tiger says, You can take a turn, and then Ill get it back. This article kind of bugs me.
