Okay, Im going to try posting under the page name instead of my individual name, hoping you guys will actually see it this time :-) In lieu of a game today, I would like everyone to focus their time and attention on what we will call a Challenge. I want everyone to go into their listed items and edit the listing names and search tags. I read this piece of advice yesterday: Get on google and YouTube to learn more about SEO, search engine optimization. Focus the time spent on the games, if you play, on checking etsy and pinterest searches for new keywords/tags. For example, on the etsy search bar, when you start typing a keyword for your product, look at the suggestions that pop up. Those are ACTUAL SEARCHES by buyers. Keep a notebook and write them down. Write down ALL other phrases that describe and closely relate to your product. You can throw out ones you dont like later. When you go to enter tags on your listing, dont use too many one word tags! You have 20 characters. However, some commonly searched for phrases are too long for one tag, so its okay to put some single words. You want to put your best tags at the beginning of your listing and as your first few tags. When you finish, post the link for ONE of your items in the comments below. Lets help each other out and review the tags and listing names! Fresh eyes may be able to give you an idea you werent able to come up with. After all, we are all here to help promote each other, right?!
