Okay folks, here is my very late day #2 of thanks!! But in all honesty, no one ever said it had to be seven consecutive days of thanks.... :) 1.) I am thankful for the nice people in our little world that things just to help a person out. Example: I just ordered a Biopsychology book for my class, which starts Monday, off of Amazon, and though it was crazy expensive, the very nice Amazon gentleman-associate-man bumped me up to free 2-day shipping. Thats right, I said FREEE! Of course I told him that I loved him, which he responded to by saying thank you (why does is this always the response I get?) and I was completely overjoyed. So even though my book cost me $115.96, the fact that this nice man worked his wondrous Amazon magic and helped me get the book for the start of my class, I am super excited, thankful, grateful, touched. There are great people in the world who will help you even when you dont ask or expect it :) So my lesson for you all is that you should always be pleasant and friendly because you never know, your niceness may inspire them to be nice to you and work their magic in a way that may be unknown to you :) 2.) Im thankful immensely for my sweet Momma who doesnt mind if I call her three times in an afternoon to tell her all of my crazy worries. She listens, tries to help and sends me things to try and reassure me that things will all be okay :) 3.) Im super super super grateful for the ladies that I have worked with since my time here in South Carolina Penny Cox, Elizabeth Randy Weatherford; Tonya Ward, Tori W. Phipps, Ms. Deanne Spake Blackwelder, Sandy Flowers Bezjak, Kate Layug Wright, Brittany Elaine, Regina McDougald Parker, Kinsey Coyt Byrd, Samantha Gambrell, Summer Coates Craddock, Jennifer Greene, Natalie Pigatt, LaKeisha Durant, Jessica Weatherford Carnell...Im fairly certain thats all of you lovely ladies!! Beautiful both inside and out, you all have such big hearts, Ive learned so much from all of you, and know that I will only continue to learn so much more as the months go by. It is such a blessing to be a witness to such teachers, parents, caregivers that truly care about the students that walk through the doors of your school. I moved around so so much when I was younger and no school or teacher (except of course for Ms. Traci Avila who was by far the best teacher Ive ever had in my entire academic career :) ) ever welcomed or showed me the love that I have seen displayed by all of you to your students. Ive also never been shown such love in any place that Ive ever worked and I cannot tell you how youve all impacted my little life :) Although my legitimate family are all up north, you have come to take such a big place in my heart that I consider you my family too, blood or not. Thank you all for loving me, accepting me in, and making me feel so loved and as if I have my own little family in Darlington, South Carolina
