Okay; is there some kind of fad going on with kids where they just want to act unpleasant for no apparent reason?! Ive been seeing it in a growing number of the kids that Ive been photographing in schools, and now I see it in my next-door neighbors teenage son. They went off on vacation this past week, and weve been collecting their mail for them. They just got back, and their son came to our front door and rang the doorbell. When I went to the door, he didnt even make eye contact but just said in a low and somewhat unpleasant tone, You have our mail? I handed him the envelope with their mail and replied in a much more pleasant tone, Yeah sure...here your ego. and then he just turned and walked away without saying another word; no thank you or anything. I came in and told my wife about it, and she said that he acted the exact same way when he asked her if we would pick up their mail for them. Im sorry people; but if your kids are going to act like complete BUTTHEADS, dont send them to ask for favors!
