Okay so I recently learned about the Tuskegee airmen experiment and it made me have a whole new outlook on oir government. So basically back during 1932-1979ish the government officials told the Tuskegee airmen they were recieving free medical treatment. They were given injections telling them it was treatment for bad blood which at the time stood for anything from syphilis to fatigue. Now what they were really doing was injecting the syphilis infection into their body without them knowing. These men then proceeded to take it home to their wives and possibly if they had children afterwards them too. When penicillin was made, the treatment for syphilis, instead of telling and treating all these men they kept it from them and did not tell them a thing. Eventually syphilis will kill you. How can our government even do that? We look down on all these other countries for torturing their citizens when in reality not too long ago we werent any better.
