Okay, so apparently theres speculation that theres at least one super-Earth planet* (Im giving it an asterisk for a reason here, which Ill get to in a moment) out in the Kuiper Belt. The speculation is putting it at about four times Earths mass... ...and thats where that asterisk comes back in. If the estimate is wrong by as little as one-third - that is, the planet* is about 2.6 times Earths mass - its a small enough portion of its section of the Kuiper Belts mass that it hasnt cleared its neighborhood. And so we have the rather interesting situation of an object thats larger than the Earth being a dwarf planet, potentially. #plutoisstillaplanet
