Okay, so here goes. Last night Leah had a fever, not a big deal she is a kid and she is in school so we expect her to get sick. As I am giving her ibuprofen to help her 102 degree fever come down she tells me that her arm has been hurting her for about a week. For those of you who know the story, arm pain was a main symptom of Leahs leukemia diagnoses 3 years ago. So Jared and I of course start to freak out. We took her to the doctor today to have her blood drawn so that her oncologist could look at her counts to see if the nasty C word had reared its ugly head again. I am beyond thankful to say that even though her counts are very low her doctors do not feel that the cancer has returned. The doctors are going to look at her blood more closely to make sure but they do not seem to be concerned. I wanted to thank all of you who took time out of your day to think and say a prayer for my little girl, I truly thought that my worst nightmare was coming true. Also, I wanted to praise God for once again protecting my baby. God is soooo good! Love to all! I will post more tomorrow after the doctors have looked closer at her blood.
