Okay so no one is really talking about the facts that NHRA is losing another major sponsor. Castrol is not just the major sponsor for JFR... They are also a major sponsor for NHRA and that series has LET THEM DOWN in a big way! It is my opinion that the NHRA is causing this issue and it is easily repairable. Yet even with the repairable issues, the powers that be at the NHRA are to damn hardheaded to make the needed changes. First, get rid of the .90 class shit at national events! Second, get rid of the other filler crap.... Now make it a show that the fans want to see! Let the TS and pro mods dictate the beginning of the show. Add the fuel cars in there and make them do longer burn outs to get the crowd screaming! Make the rules so that the same is required from ALL cars. Now, since we have a lot less cars you can run the entire show in 3 days max! Friday till Sunday and it is done. If there is a rain out for one day, go by points for qualifying if need be. There are a lot of other small changes that can be made to make it the SHOW that people WANT to see. Right now it does not pay the racers and it is a horrible show for the fans! Notice the stands are always 50% EMPTY. You can not look at this as they are 50% full when you had 100% in the past. The costs they put on the spectator is UNREASONABLE! It is to much to attend a race that has an outcome you can already state who will be in that final. So if you think what I am stating here is correct... Hit the like and comment...
