Okay... who *might* be interested in an eight-day writing retreat held next year sometime at a luxury retreat in 1.5 acres of landscaped gardens, with ALL the luxuries of home (and likely more)? There would be maybe three or four morning workshops run by renowned writers over the eight days, but the rest of the time would be spent writing or chatting about writing with other writers. The retreat location is within walking distance to a historic tourist-oriented township full of cafes, hotels, restaurants, picturesque lakes and all sorts of wonderful shops. All of the cottages are fully self-contained with high quality linen supplied. All have a wood fire, (pot belly stove or open fire) as well as central heating. There is also a professional in-house massage facility available for an extensive range of therapies tailored to your requirements. [EDIT] - Would also involve a few hours one-on-one time with a writing mentor. We have no idea of the final cost, but are *thinking* maybe $1500 for the entire eight days. Anyone that could be interested, leave a comment below. We are purely in the what if stage, but I think it sounds like a dream week where I could get most of a novel (or maybe most of a short story collection) written in total luxury.
