Olga Pek at Camaradefest 100 poets. 50 pairs. One day. Starting at 12 noon and running all day, Camaradefest will present 50 brand new collaborative works involving 100 poets working in pairs. Featuring a poetic dialogue of Olga Pek and Zuzana Husárová (with simultaneous poetry, sound poetry and tumult) around the current political situation in Europe. Beginning at 12 noon and ending late into the night, Camaradefest evidences the endlessly exciting potential of collaboration in poetry and the true depth, width and brilliance of 21st century poetics. Expect no two works the same, and following on from the great success of the first fest last year, an unforgettable way to experience contemporary poetry. Olga Pek and Zuzana Husárová will be on stage from 9 pm. Olga Pek is a poet, translator, organizer and a postgrad student at the Charles University in Prague. She is the director of Prague Microfestival and co-editor of the Czech quarterly for contemporary poetry Psí Víno and the international revue VLAK. Her poetry translations from English have been published in the anthology Polibek s rozvodnou (“Kissing the Substation,” 2012). She is a member of the TŘYIE poetry collective.
