Omg... Who would have ever thought my little 15oz 25wk baby would ever get to 15yrs old today. She was given less than 24hrs when she was born.. She flat lined regularly, she had a fungus eat her skin, probe burn marks all over her body, spent the first three years of her life on oxygen. Was born with chronic lung disease, only one vocal chord and many special needs. But the bodY is a marvelous creAtion... He only vocal chord shrunk but her body developed its own way to enable her to speak.. So yes she has a rough quiet voice (people ask does she have a sore throat), yes she has a volatile manner, yes she totally does my nut in at times... But she is here and proof that every being has a right to life and is here to show what we are all capable of achieving!! So happy 15th birthday my little (big) beff-a-lump. Bethanie potter you make me proud everyday (even if you frustrate the hell outta me)
