On 31 May, two weeks from today, I will retire from my civil service job as a court reporter. I am both excited and sad at the same time. 42 years ago in June of 1972 I joined the Air Force and after retirement from active duty became a civilian court reporter in February of 1993. There are many Facebook friends who I have worked with either in the courtroom or out of the courtroom here at Ellsworth AFB or at Luke AFB. I want to thank them for their support and their friendship, especially those other court reporters who have always been there for me. It has really meant a lot to me. Theres going to be a little retirement ceremony for me off base on 22 May. Im on leave until my final out processing day 30 May. As the saying goes, its been a great ride!
