On April 17th, the number of rhino poached in South Africa was reported to be 294. At this rate, of 2.75 averaged a day, we are again on track to top 1000 rhino slaughtered this year, for a useless commodity. How can this be? How long before we hit the tipping point? How many years before the rhino are extinct and when will the world wake up and say enough is enough and band together to stop this? How many more need to be slaughtered before YOU get more active in your protest and do what you can to make all of your friend aware of what is happening right now to these magnificent animals? Please share these stories, these statistics and make sure everyone you know knows of the impending loss of a species that has walked this earth for 50 million years. Lets not be the generation that sat by and watched them become extinct.
