On August 18, 1991 I lost my brother Kevin to wind shear at Stratham Hill, two other people also lost their lives. Kevin lived 33 years severely disabled, born with Cerebral Palsy. He was an extraordinary person. Even though he was unable to sit up on his own and do things most of us take for granted, he accomplish much more than most able bodied people, he was kind to a fault and saw nothing but good in people. It was like The Big Guy Upstairs put Kevin into my life to make me a better human being. Even though I took care of him physically, he took care of me mentally. After Kevin’s passing there were a few little things that happen to make my mom and family believe Kevin’s spirit was still at our house, at the time I wasn’t convince these incidents had anything to do with Kevin’s spirit. Kevin loved movie night and if we were showing a movie with Chuck Norris in it, he would get really excited and shout out “EXCELLENT!” So one movie night we decided to watch one of Kevin’s favorite Chuck Norris movies, “The Good Guys Wear Black” As the opening credits started to play the ceiling light and fan came on! I looked up at the fan and said “we love you Kevin, EXCELLENT.” I’m now a believer. Do you have a story? You read mine, now I want to read yours.
