On Chaplin duty today and tonight at the hospital. Was called by the family on behalf of a 91 year old lady that had a massive stroke. I prayed the Lord would give her clarity of mind for me to talk with her. The nurse told me go talk to her but she wont respond. I called her by name she took my hand and squeezed it. I ask her some questions ask her to respond by squeezing my hand. I learned she did not know the Lord as Savior. She wanted to be saved. I helped her pray a sinners prayer. She accepted the Lord. Said do you know if you were to die you will go to heaven. She opened one eye slightly looked at me and said yes I would go to heaven Jesus saved me. So thankful for the Lord to use me to snatch another one away from the devil. The nurse could not believe she responded at all. It was the Lord giving her one more chance to be saved. How about you?
