On Christmas day I left Cornwall to go to the hospital to see Pam urgently. Sadly when I got there Pam had had a massive stroke caused by an infection on her brain. Pam deteriorated and sadly died, after battling with every ounce of her being, on Saturday 27th December at 5.39 (today). I cannot explain the pain or the numbness I feel at losing my beautiful, funny, lovely caring sister. I can tell you that Pam knew everyone was there and that the love and courage shown by her family was incredible. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I loved my sister so much its difficult to know what to do and what to say.
