On February 14, the Heartland Cafe (7000 N. Glenwood) is going to have a Valentines Day event. There will be live music, an all you can eat dessert table (including vegan chocolate cake, and chocolate dipped fruits), and some dancing, with yours truly calling. The music is provided by the house band, The Mudflapps, with whom I have been in contact to make sure the music fits the dances. The actual dancing will be from 9-10:30 PM. The two dining rooms will be cleared for the dancing. The floor is tile (ceramic?), but the dancing will be mixers and squares. Tickets need to be purchased, either in advance or at the door.
