On Friday November 21st students from the B803 (Protection, Security and Investigation) and B819 Program (Police Foundations) ventured out to LaSalle, ON and conducted two Acts of Kindness. The first was in the 1100 block of Woodmont and the second was in the 300 block of Laurier. Both recipients are senior citizens and their names were forwarded to the PSI/PF Society for consideration. The PSI/PF Society convoy started at the Zehrs store on Malden Road and then started on Woodmont, the driveway was cleaned of snow and then 45 bags of leaves were accumulated in one hour. As they pulled up to the location on Laurier the recipient was exiting her front door and could not hold back her emotion and began to cry, she stated that no one has ever done something like this for her. Once again they blitzed the yard and accumulated 25 bags of leaves and branches. As a faculty member of the PSI/PF Society I was so impressed and proud of the participation by our students.
