On October 14th #Skillet will release a career encompassing album, ‘Vital Signs’ to celebrate their first ever European headline tour, on Atlantic Records. ‘Vital Signs’ is exclusive to Europe only and is not meant to be a ‘Best Of ‘ nor is it by any means a ‘Greatest Hits’. The track listing was put together by the band to commemorate 10 years of recording and performing. It includes many Skillet classics and is designed to show the versatility and uniqueness of a band who over the course of the past few years have sold more than two million units in the U.S., racked up more than 150 million YouTube views and amassed a diehard following (dubbed Panheads) whose members number in the millions. ‘Vital Signs’ opens with the explosive ‘Rebirthing’, followed by mighty ‘Monster, which became a Skillet breakthrough single in the US, selling over 1 million copies and gaining over 76 million views on Youtube. Here is the Monster video https://youtube/watch?v=1mjlM_RnsVE ‘Vital Signs’ continues with numerous fan and live concert favorites and closes with a hat trick of huge songs - ‘Hero’ with over 42 million views on youtube with its hard grove and vocal tradeoff between John Cooper and Jen Ledger is followed by unbearable tension of the lacerating “Sick of It”, suddenly giving way to the ecstatic release of “Rise” Skillet are without doubt one of the most important bands to come out of the US for a while and “Vital Signs’ is a perfect introduction to an extraordinary and important band. ‘Vital Signs’ Track listing Rebirthing Monster Awake and Alive The Last Night Whispers In The Dark Not Gonna Die Comatose Hero Sick Of It Rise UPC: CD: 075678671425 / Digital: 075679934604 To pre-order ‘Vital Signs’ go to https://itunes.apple/gb/album/vital-signs/id920582396 Skillet is John Cooper vocalist / bassist Korey Cooper guitarist/keyboardist Jen Ledger drummer/vocalist Jen Ledger Seth Morrison guitarist The Vital Signs European Tour 2014‘ dates October 12th The Garage Glasgow, UK 13th Wulfrun Hall Wolverhampton, ENG 14th Islington Academy London, UK 15th Norwich Waterfront Norwich, Norfolk 17th Trix Hall Antwerp, Belgium 18th O13 Tilburg, Netherlands 20th Komplex Klub Zurich, Switzerland 21st Essigfabrik Cologne, Germany 24th Gruenspan Hamburg, Germany 25th Bygninen Vejle, Denmark 26th Debaser Strand Stockholm, Sweden 28th Stodola Warsaw, Poland 29th Loftas Concert Hall Vilnius, Lithuania 30th Melna Concert Hall Riga, Latvia November 1st Rock Café Tallin, Estonia 3rd Stadium Live Moswcow, Russia 4th Stadium Live Moswcow, Russia 5th Milo Hall N.
