On Sunday August 25th the Youth Challenge Cycle Race hosted by 92.5 fm Radio Station in St .Martin took place. TEAM ANGUILLA was represented by five cyclists who once again made us proud. The main race started at 9.00 am with 26 riders and was a distance of 101 kilometers. TEAM ANGUILLA got three places: 2nd place Sherwin Osborne (Shortman) 5th place Devaughn Richardson (Baker) 6th place Benjamin Phillip (Donga) 1st place was Danniel Jeunno (Guadeloupe) 3rd place was Jean Marrie (Poyo) 4th Place was Dean Hodge In the sprint race held in the afternoon Ricardo Romney of TEAM ANGUILLA placed second. It was a great day of racing and everyone had a great time . The AACA would like to thank the cyclists for another valiant effort in representing Anguilla and also to the support team . Special thanks to the ferry boats for their discounted fees and to the host 92.5 FM Radio and their sponsors for a well organised day of racing . The second portion of the cycling season in Anguilla will begin in two weeks time. More details will be issued shortly .
