On Tuesday, August 5, our Oakland-Wayne Lyme Support Group will be meeting again at 7:00 pm at Northwest Unitarian Universalist Church (northwestuu.org), 23925 Northwestern Highway, Southfield 48075. Plase feel free to bring your favorite tea bag &/or snack. Our guest will be Al Birkholz, Athletic Director of Bloomfield Hills Public Schools. He will share with us how Lyme Disease forced him to take an extended leave of absence from his job. After several years of treatment Al was able to return to very active job, free of symptoms. I wonder if his active life-style played a role in his recovery. He is willing to answer our questions, and we will also save some time to catch up with everyone who wishes to share.
