On behalf of the andy morgan foundation we would like to thank everyone thats offered to help a mother of 6 daughters who lost their daddy to suicide this xmas She is under severe stress about providing for her babies .. We also would like to thank all those who shared a post I put up yesterday with an appeal looking for help it was shared by over 30 people.. We have had a great response for people who will donate to this family with clothes toys vouchers meat hampers so next wk we will start gathering up items for her.. As some of you may know the andy morgan foundation are making up goodie baskets for children who lost a parent by suicide as a little xmas gift..so that we may put a smile on their faces over the xmas holidays with free cinema..zoo phanto passes ..to give them a few days of family fun at such a difficult time.. We have 15 families for the baskets and if we had more money we would have more families...we will also do our best to help the mother with six children too...as our goodie bags arent something you could put under a tree for xmas morning ..there more of a surprise gift...this lady has nothing to put under her tree and its you guys that are helping us ..that are making a difference. ..togetheir we are a circle of hope for this lady...we are all strangers helping another stranger but because of your good hearts we have become a team...even to know someone out there cares is sometimes all we need...to know we are not on our own....to know we can reach our hands out for others to catch it and say ...its ok I gotcha. .xmas is all about reaching out to others not standing in a que battling with other parents to buy some doll thats the latest craze...not putting up photos xmas morning of the ridiculous amount of toys your children get....its about us...people ...caring for one another. .spending time with your loved ones..and even if its just once a yr just been kind to eachother... So we are only too chuffed that the amazing choir ceol from finglas are going to make a video for this lady and her children..which they will say hi to each of her 6 children and if we find santa..he may say a message also to the children in the video..telling them just how wonderful they all are..then the choir will sing Christmas carols to the children dedicating it to each of them...in the credits at the end of this little video we will put all the names of everyone who will have helped this family out...so the mammy can see all the names of thosr who cared about her and her children. .we will also send the video to each person who has donated to her... If you ask me what xmas is all about..it cant get any better than than... I cried a few tears today and last night at the messages people sent me offering to help...people are amazing and im so blessed to be a small part in helping a beautiful family this xmas ♥
