On my way to Nairobi to preach at Umoja 2 SDA church on Sabbath. On Sunday I will proceed to Kimathi University for a week of prayer. Spurgeon said that prayer can never be in excess. That is why i keep on asking for your prayers, we will be co-partners as I preach. Bishop Hopkins said that “Prayer is a golden key, which should open the morning and lock up the evening” Reminds me of Psalms 55:17 “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. ” This is how we should open our morning. Mark 1:35 “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” What about during the day? Luke 5:16 “And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed” Some nights need nights of prayers coz of the problems we are facing. Luke 6:12. “And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God” Question, do you open and close your day with the golden key? Hear this: HE WHO FAILS TO PRAY DOES NOT CHEAT GOD. HE CHEATS HIMSELF-George Failing
