On route home from Scotland after having a couple of days relaxing now its back to reality Jude is sleeping so Im doing some work on here catching up with messages & got some things I would like to share with my clients. Thanks to Lauren I am nearly through all text apps which she worked on last night. It was a busy bank holiday weekend at Miss Independent & I promise next bank holiday I will try my hardest to have 4 therapists in so we dont have to turn any of our clients away. I would also like to apologise for the mess on Saturday in our Tini tiny kitchen & spray tan room when its all tans we run out of space (bring on an extension) it was my fault also we had no hats so had to use towels :( I was at the hospital til late Fri visiting my nana who was rushed in early hours & started early Saturday without a stock list :(( which I need otherwise my brain wont remember all the stock I need lol! As I now have been open 5 years & these past 3 months have been our busiest yet I have decided to hire a receptionist who can take the pressure off me & the girls as Im not getting through all texts & messages online, Aswell this will give us as therapists more personal time with our clients (which these days iv been missing) its all been like a whirlwind & the days have passed so quick turning into weeks & months. After having a talk with Vicki on Saturday we feel sometimes over the last few months we have been so distracted with the phone plz accept my apology for this if I had of realised how crazy it was going to be this summer maybes I would of been prepared however previous years it wasnt the right thing for the business. Although I did employ Lauren as a receptionist but shes now running her own column. This has been a tough year for me been self employed as I constantly feel as tho Im trying to play catch up sometimes working 12 hour days covering the girls holidays up early when Im off to sort app book stock paperwork towels training & everything else that goes on in business aswell as taking on 2 new therapists Becky & Casey who wr thrown in practically at the deep end. I believe we have tried out best & worked so hard if the salon ever seems as tho its not running as smooth as it should then plz forgive us all :) the demand for beauty these days is phenomenal.
