On the way home today I stopped by McDonald on Durango and 215 to buy a large sweet tea and as I was pulling out I noticed a homeless man with his push cart filled with his belongings. This being the season of giving I didnt hesitate to turn around a drive up to the man and ask him if he wanted something to eat, as humble as he could be he only asked for a drink, which was not a problem since I had fifteen dollars in cash I ask him if he would like a hamburger or something, he hesitated and then said chicken nuggets. I said okay Ill be right back, I drove through McDonald the second time and ordered the #15 chicken nuggets with fries and a large coke, I went back to the man and gave him the food along with a $5.00 bill and wished him a Happy Thanksgiving and with a warm smile on his face I asked him his name, Chip he replied. Just doing an act of kindness was such a good feeling and a moment to reflect on those who are less fortunate, not to mention left in the cold. So if you ever get the opportunity to do an act of kindness dont second guess it, just do it, the feeling is so overwhelming and up lifting. God Bless all those who reads this post, have a Blessed Thanksgiving.
