Yuki: No I live in Auckland but slowly preparing to move back to Samoa Taxi driver: That’s amazing! Where is your village in Samoa? Yuki: I live in Lalovaea Taxi driver: Oi kalofae I’m in Fasito’o-uta. I hear there is a big conference in Samoa in August Yuki: Yes it’s the United Nation’s Small Islands Development conference with a focus on Climate change they are expecting like 5000 delegates (Continue taking about Samoa for another 10 minutes… he loves playing golf with the village pastor etc etc) Taxi driver: I can tell by the way you dress and talk you must be a lawyer! Yuki: I wish! Taxi driver: I have 3 girls and 2 boys they have all grown up now. My eldest daughter lives in Australia and all the girls are married with families. Do you have a family? Yuki: No unfortunately I don’t Taxi driver: Oh really? So are you shopping for a husband? Yuki: LOL I never thought of it as ‘shopping’! Taxi driver: Well my two sons are not married yet and they are shopping. When are you coming back to Wellington? Can I give you my number so we can keep in touch?
