On this day 10 years ago, we organized an event to honour a brilliant set of graduating JW brothers and sisters in OOU, Ago Iwoye… I had the most amazing set of crew and team to work with in making that day a memorable and successful one. We rehearsed relentlessly for 8 months and everyone gave their best. We had a lot of challenges but we waded through it all. The ideas were genuine and original, and the eventual performance was just absolutely brilliant. The highest point of the event was seeing the uncontrollable tears of joy rolling down the face of each of the graduands as we revealed from behind the curtains their family members we brought from different parts of Nigeria without the knowledge of the graduands, to witness the event. Hmmm, looking back I think we couldn’t have done it better… we rewrote history.
