On this day, 12 yrs ago, i was in Turkey in support of Operation Southern Watch. I was with Willie Wall and Aaron Muller. We were in the Alley playing pool when the owner told us we needed to get back to base because New York just got bombed. When we got back to our tent, and finally saw what was what was going on we were in shock. We were on shut down. Then Operation Enduring Freedom started and we were working with special forces and the CIA to get supplies into Afghanistan for the Northern Alliance. It is a moment i will never forget.
