On this day 34 years ago...I became A BIG SISTER!! After being the baby of the family for more than a decade, Akeia Brooks became the JOY of my bigsisterhood! I was now A sister...and you couldnt tell me anything, or so I thought. And then my Grandma Mary came to visit...as I watched her like a hawk as she attended to MY babysisters navel cord, she asked me, well am I doing it right? She was beautiful and sweet....until the ripe ol age of....TWO! OH MY GOODNESS, I wanted to send her back! ESPECIALLY that morning she woke me up with the flashlight IN MY FACE...(lol) oooweee I coukd have snatched HER! And then she became 10 and sweet again....we were inseparable. Our hearts forever joined and after years of growth, groans, and Gods goodness shes still my sweet babysister!! She is determined and successful in her career, diligent in her life for the GLORY of GOD...thats even more beautiful than her undeniable physical beauty and yet she MAKES times to give and be JUST what someone else needs....a true Proverbs 31 woman! I ALMOST made it through this post without crying...I am blessed and so proud to call this beautifully and wonderfully made woman of God...MY BABYSISTER, lovingly known as Pooh!! Yall wish POOH a Happy 34th Birthday!
