On this day today on the 11th of April 1951 Stone of Destiny known as Stone of Scone found in Arbroath Abbey. The stone was found lying on the site of the Abbeys altar where Ian Hamilton, Kay Matheson Alan Stuart and Gavin Vernon stand beside it covered with the Scotland saltire flag. The famous picture is James Wishart the custodian with the stone of destiny and the police carryed the stone to Forfar Police Station for custody and tomorrow the Stone return to Westminister Abbey till the coronation ceremony to the Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. in !996 the Stone of Destiny has return to Scotland and arrived in Edinburgh Castle on St Andrews day where it remains on display with the Honours of Scotland. This picture I took in Arbroath Abbey on 6th April 2014 on Tartan day event and the Declaration of Arbroath in 1320 during the independent is the Stone of Destiny copy, theres another copy in Scone Palace the Real is in Edinburgh Castle
