Once again, Ive been misread, misinterpreted and just plain old misunderstood. Ive been those three things more this year than all of last year.. I guess that puts me in great company though.. Walt Disney, Bill Gates, Paul McCartney, Prince, Oprah and Malcolm X among many others. As I listen to Jesse Johnsons So Misunderstood while I sip on Arizona Iced Tea I think back to something my neighbor, (GOD rest his soul), told me when I was a kid; Little Tony, man you do what you feel you have to do, just keep your nose clean. Many people, family included will not understand you. Dont let it depress you or stop you. There are great things in store for you. So might get there with you, but I promise you there will be more that dont get there with you. I will never forget those words that man said to me when I was trying to learn my way around business, music, women, family and friends. I have had a bumpy road, it has not always been paved in GOLD and it has not been an easy road to travel. So many people have not gotten me through the years and only a handful have understood. In the words of Elton John, Im Still Standing.. I will continue to do so...
