Once upon a time, I was a scared frantic mother on an ambulance - TopicsExpress

Once upon a time, I was a scared frantic mother on an ambulance from my house to the nearby hospital in Thousand Oaks, California, sending my then 1 yr old son due to him having a seizure at home I remember calling 911 with almost all parts of me jelly like after seeing Ammar with his eyes rolled back, face turning blue, foamy mouth and just that stiff body Even a few hours after that when he was stabilized under the medical care, the paramedics and staff joked around lightly to me that child stable, mom is not Past 2 days he gave me another scare. Altho Im more calm and composed this time, my inside is bursting with worries The day before yesterday, I woke up to find him pooping on the bed, all soaked. He had diarrhea the day before so I thought it was just tht. As I asked him to get up and bath, he seemed to forget how to take off his shirt, bathe. It was really weird, I knew something was not right but couldnt quite put my fingers on it. Sent him to hospital, where he seemed more delirious. When I asked him what my name was, he said Oren. He looked dazed and confused Doctor diagnosed him as having an epileptic episode thats mild hence causing him to be in the state of deliriousness. He even pulled his IV line and let it bled and just stared at it till he was soaked in blood. Out of nowhere my instincts were amplified and pointing to his abdomen. I dont know what but I knew he has to be checked there. The thing was it has been almost over a day where he didnt complain at all abt his tummy. He did say of stomach ache the day before that My gratitude to Him, pursuing the mothers impulse pushing for ultrasound and CT Scan of the abdomen, it showed that his appendix had ruptured. The infection is bad and causing fever , and all electrolytes imbalance which explain why he was being cuckoo. He is being monitored in the High Dependency Unit now post surgery. My poor baby. I mite not be in the ambulance, or jelly kneed but Im walking with a knot in my stomach. I just love you so much my big 80 kg pumpkin, please get better, please, please. Heart, Mama
