In particular concerning the content of many twisted and unrealistic Fatwas issued by Imams and the non-sense speaches by too many ignorant Preachers. Human and Women Rights are also very important issues that need to be addressed rightly in this contemporary world. The Letter condemns IS self-proclamation and its actions and contest is islamic nature. The fact is that besides IS criminal actions it is still difficult to understand and accept the lack of consideration for human and womens rights in countries like Iran or Saudi Arabia. #Open Letter to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi signed by more than 100 muslim scholars. # Among the signatories are the present and former grand mufti of Egypt, Chaouki Allam and Ali Gomaa, the nigerian sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Saad Abubakar, and the head of the indonesian organization Muhammadiyah, Din Syamsuddin, and eight auhorities of Al Azhar university in Cairo. The Letter is addressed to Abou Bakr al Baghdadi and to the fighters and supporters of the self-proclaimed Islamic State and to its potential recruits, imams, and to those who will try to dissuade young muslims from joining IS. Last wednesday, and on behalf of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), Nihad Awad has presented the Letter to Washington, with the hope that IS fighters would read it. The signatories condemns the murder of americain journalists James Foley, Steven Sotloff and of british humanitarian worker David Haines and IS actions as well that they reject reminding the muslim tradition of protection to those who intervene among Group. The Letter qualifies the nearly 3.000 murder cases of IS prisoners as war crimes and refers to quotes of the Prophet that forbid this practice. And it specifies that the christians and zaidi arabs are both People of the Book that should be protected by islamic law, the charia. In conclusion, the letter states that they IS should reconsider its actions, renounce, repent, stop harming others and turn back to the religion of mercy.
