One day a very grumpy dinosaur, grumpily got up out of his bed. He grumpily ate his breakfast. He grumpily brushed his teeth. He even grumpily washed his face. He thought if he went for a walk it would make him less grumpy. But no, it didn’t, he had gotten even grumpier. Cause first couldn’t find a seat to feed the ducks. That made him grumpy. He couldn’t find a water fountain, which made him grumpy. Along his travels he bumped into this friend and that, which would have been fine, if they all didn’t ask him why he was such a Grumpysaurus. Which made him even grumpier, finally he found a big tree on a quiet hill and plopped himself down, and fell asleep. While the Grumpysaurus slept, his friends decided to cheer him up. Chifesaurus made a huge yummy cake. Clownasaurus made loads of balloon animals. Partysaurus decorated the tree with pretty ribbons and other shiny things. All the other dinosaurs ran around finding things for the cheer up party. Mommysaurus yelled, “Stop, please all stop.” All the dinosaurs’ stopped to look at Mommysaurus. “We forgot its Grumpysaurus birthday today.” She said. With a gasp they all ran around getting birthday gifts. A short time later once the party was set up, Grumpysaurus woke from his nap, to his surprise Mommysaurus and all his friends where standing in front of him with a big smile. “Happy birthday, Grumpysaurus.” They all said together. With a huge smile he said, “Thank you.” He happily ate the cake. He happily played the games. He happily carried an animal balloon. After the party he happily walked home. And happily brushed his teeth. Happily got into bed. And happily fell asleep. 5-9-2013.
